About This Game After an affair King Lucas had with the Witch of Sausan, the Queen left him and remarried in an adjacent kingdom, and now his daughters are the only ones left at his side. Due to his love for them, each and every time they get lost in the castle, he moves heaven and earth to get them back and he only resorts to the most intrepid knights in order to find them. Will you be one of those knights?Play for the favour of King Lucas and the three princesses' love. A castle will be randomly built and you must find them inside a little area of it. You can move horizontally and vertically through the rooms until you reach your goal. Once you succeed, the castle will become a little bit more difficult: a larger area will be unlocked... and the experience will become more hardcore when the princess becomes lost inside a fully unlocked castle with more than 1,000 rooms.Features: Get money and buy upgrades such us compasses and crystal balls, more weapons such us magical sticks and swords, or harder shields to protect yourself from the giant spiders, the armored rats, the piranhas and the many other haunted beings in the castle.Enroll for collective multiplayer searches where you will be able to compete with your friends or with other unknown players. It’s simple: one princess, one winner... the first to find her. Talk and interact with a lot of NPCs who will play different funny and unexpected roles through your quest (yes, there's some hidden story underneath the arcade!). We absolutely love retro gaming and this has been engrained in King Lucas's DNA. This is a metroidvania game with 2.5D graphics and classic game mechanics for the delight of platform, action and adventure games lovers as well as you who didn't live the 80's and 90's; this is an opportunity for you to taste a bit of that classic feeling with the graphics and sound quality of today.King Lucas' castle is made up of hundreds of interconnected rooms, which are reconfigured every time a new search begins. These rooms have been hand designed one by one (we don´t use procedural level design!) and there's no two equal gameplays. Lava pits, water tunnels, ladders, traps... this castle has become a deadly place since the queen left. 1075eedd30 Title: King LucasGenre: Action, Adventure, IndieDeveloper:DevilishGamesPublisher:DevilishGamesRelease Date: 1 Dec, 2016 King Lucas Activation Code [Ativador] fisher king jack lucas quotes. lucas king wattpad. lucas king soundcloud. lucas king gizzard. lucas king music box. lucas king darth vader. lucas king isolation piano sheet. lucas king sheet music free. lucas king dark music. lucas king vicksburg ms. isolation lucas king sheet music free. lucas king wisdom of the crowd. lucas king of the road lights. fisher king jack lucas quotes. lucas king empty doll. lucas king the last leaf falls. lucas king the force. king lucas back to syria. lucas king order 66. lucas king pain sheet music. lucas king albums. lucas king limbo. lucas king isolation lyrics. lucas king greenville sc. lucas king silence. lucas king age. lucas king isolation piano sheet music. lucas king music sheet. lucas king website. lucas king feel. lucas king james. lucas king wisdom of the crowd. lucas king of the hill. lucas king piano sheet music. lucas king - lament (vexento remix). lucas king age. carole king george lucas. lucas 20 king james Fails to engage. No consequence for failure making it cheaper to not use potions, saving your gold for better items... Not horrible, just, not good.. King Lucas meets its mark as an exploration adventure set in a large world, but it lacks the polish and finesse that would make it truly shine out among others. I did complete all ten levels of the single player mode, and I'll admit that the challenge of navigating through such a large world was fun. The game provides a limited number of tools that, when used efficiently, allowed me to finish the game in about 8 hours of playtime. I like the novel twist on level design, with an evolving castle on a scale that reminded me of the maze from the World's Largest Dungeon pen and paper RPG.The dialogue presents the first challenge to seamless gameplay, with errors in grammar and syntax that appear to be more than just oversights in translation. The attempts at humor by the NPCs are cringeworthy, and not in a good way; cultural references are thrown in at odd places, and most of the jokes feel forced. Few of the NPCs have any relevance to the game itself, which at first leads to a lot of wasted time. Although the game provides a loose narrative that is slowly revealed through a few of these conversations, the story is inconsequential and provides little added value.Navigating the large world is the main challenge, with the rest of the game being extremely easy. Combat essentially reduces to button-mashing, with a few choices of weapons but little skill involved. The levels do become increasingly populated with enemies as the size of the castle increases, but none of these are difficult when compared to classic or modern games in the same genre. The music also leaves much to be desired and at times even sounds like it was procedurally generated. If you do play this, then I suggest muting the game in favor of your own soundtrack.Replayability is limited, as by level 10 I was noticing rooms start to repeat or look similar. Once you get the hang of the game, it's a lather-rinse-repeat strategy to complete each level. I was unable to try multiplayer mode, as no public games were available the few times I checked.King Lucas provides an innovative twist on procedural exploration games, but in the end it fails to live up to its Platonic ideal. I only recommend this game if you're a dedicated roguelike player with a compulsion to collect every last one.. Cute game ^__^. King Lucas is a damn fine game. As previously mentioned by other reviewers it is slightly Metroidvania with a hint of Rogue Legacy. It's more than that though. It takes me back to the fun of great exploratory platformers of the 8-bit 80's. The game is certainly vast and the rooms vary in design. This type of game will never be for everyone, but it's a style often overlooked and I'm proud to have it in my ever dense Steam collection, where I often forget I even own a game.. Couldn't rebind keys for some reason even though the option is there, all that happened was that the key was unbound but it never accepted a replacement key. Many inputs were dropped before I could even finish one room just while trying to use the default controls. I REALLY wanted to like this game as it has great ideas, but I'm not sure you're supposed to be able to control it well, which is just frustrating.
